We had some pretty serious storms earlier in which several tornadoes touched down, and toward the end of the storm system, I fell asleep with the news on.

And I ended up dreaming that I was playing Pokemon Go, and in this dream the weather patterns affected the game, so a giant funnel cloud touched down on my phone screen and my avatar started glitching out and the tornado dropped me into some epic boss battle. I can't remember the specifics of the boss battle, only that it was storming and hailing and that the boss kinda looked like Hermaeus Mora?

I didn't actually have a nightmare, but I was just thinking about it and decided to jot this down.

I have some recurring themes where bad dreams and nightmares are concerned, like themes within themes.

The nightmares that make the biggest impression on me have paranormal themes, and i think this is mostly due to my interest in the paranormal, but the dreams that have the biggest impact from within the paranormal category, have to do with electronics.

Namely, electronics that still continue to function when unplugged.

I don't know why this is such a scary thing, but apparently my subconscious is afraid of it.

So I had a dream that I was in my car and I was driving down the road when I get pulled over by a cop, and this cop was driving a flashy, shiny red convertible, and he pulled me over because my car was ugly.

Since the Mill opened back up, I'm not used to being in bed at 7am so I ended up waking up at about 11:30 when my brain went "NO SLEEP FOR YOU!"

I fell back asleep at about noon when Spongebob came on TV, and had this really weird dream where Spongebob Squarepants was actually a badly-drawn cartoon lesbian porn show.

I had a few entertaining daydreams earlier in the day while I was trying to figure out which theme from the 100 Themes Challenge I wanted to do next.

Said daydreams involved some of my original characters and the after-effects of alcohol.

Said daydreams of my OC's and the after-effects of alcohol inspired the idea to completely restart the 100 Themes Challenge and call it 100 Hangovers.

Le Sigh...

Yenno what really sucks?

It really sucks when you go to sleep for the day, and have one of those very realistic dreams that it's hard to distinguish between a dream and reality until you actually do wake up.

And it sucks even more when said dream centers around a certain dead computer being fixed and working all nie and wonderfully, only to be shattered into tiny bite-sized pieces when you wake up and go to turn it on just to find out that it was all just a dream.

I need a fucking life.

I don't know why, but I've been having these crazy-ass dreams as of late. And I literally mean crazy-ass dreams, but unfortunately, I can't find the bajillion touch-lights I bought so I can have them by my bed for when I have one of these epic dreams so I can write them down right when I wake up, when I still remember them.

I can barely remember the basis of the dreams, but the ones I do remember:

-Last week, before I killed my TV, I watched Repo! The Genetic Opera before I went to bed, and I had some really long sci-fi epic for a dream that would have made a good story plot... if I hadn't forgotten it as soon as I woke up.

-The other night, I had a dream involving, akuroku, the Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and zombies. Don't ask, because I don't remember.

-And last night, the only thing I really remember from my dream is Chuck Norris!

I seem to be going through another art block, because I have like ten half-finished drawings that I can't bring myself to work on anymore. I did have an epic new story idea that I actually have started writing. I don't know how far I'm going to get into it, because I'm lucky if I can get a few sentences into it, nonetheless an entire chapter. Don't look for it anytime soon. Le sigh.

Jim: Wow, this stuff cooks up just like human flesh.

Me: ...And you know this how?

How is it that I actually own five seasons of the X-Files and every time I decide I want to watch it, I still find episodes that I've never seen?

It's pretty sad when you set your playlist on shuffle and it decides to play Combichrist, followed by Gorgoroth, followed by Jesse McCartney. Which is why I've named that playlist "Playlist Full of Fail"

Okay, so I've discovered that watching Repo! The Genetic Opera right before taking a nap, and then falling asleep with your playlist on random when your playlist happens to contain the entire soundtrack, is a one-way ticket to a parade of the weirdest fucking dreams you will ever have.

And the worst part is it's always the epically weird dreams that you manage to forget almost immediately.

Other things that will cause weird dreams:

--Fall asleep watching Mythbusters.

--Fall asleep watching the History Channel.

--Twelve hours of God of War.

--An ADD-random brain.
